Resident Evil 4 Remake – Resident Evil 4 Remake Release Date

Resident Evil Game Series Remake

Resident Evil 3 remake was the last game in the franchise that Capcom decided to work on, and it’s almost impossible that the 4 games in the series would get a remake with first-handline of the response to that game.

The first two entries in the remake series go nearly universal acclaim from fans and critics alike. The third in the series got a far more lukewarm response. Critics praised how the game captured the tension and action of the original version while noting that it is a relatively short length and disappointing lack of innovation.

Capcom decided to take up these criticisms and they decided to restart work on the development of the resident Evil 4 remake. What this meant was is difficult to say, particularly because the third and fourth entries in the series are games that are very different.

Nonetheless, fans should expect to see an expanded version of the game’s world, rather than a scaled-back one. Also, innovating the gameplay will top priority for capcom.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Release Date

Finally what fans have been waiting for was out of the bag. Finally, capcom has decided to announce the launch date of the resident Evil 4 Remake. The game has been scheduled to launch on March 24, 2023.

This game is going to be the third remake in the series, even though there have been some issues, still, the remake series sold over 4 million copies worldwide.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Leaks

There have been some decent amount of what we know about the next installment in capcom series of Zombie-filled remakes that have come to us via a prominent resident evil leaker. And while we should not entirely believe too much in these rumors, the person behind these leaks has been seen to have around some great percentage of accuracy.

Dusk Golem leaked that a lot of the work made in resident evil 4 was thrown out and started anew. Also, he stated that capcom has been working on the game since 2018, and has the codename “Chainsaw project”.

Dusk stated that in response to the main criticism of resident Evil 3, the resident Evil 4 remake would be featuring a more open world than the original. This design choice makes more sense, as the over-the-shoulder camera angle of the original offered well to open-world game design.

Expanded Story and Horror

In an interview that took place with Shinji Mikami, director of the original Resident Evil 4, some interesting details came to light regarding the resident Evil 4 remake. First of all, Mikami was keen to communicate his support for the project, as long as the game got treated with respect and the right care.

Mikami also stated that capcom would be making the game to be scarier putting it in line with the Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village.
