The annual Doodle for Google Scholarship competition is open to students in grades K–12. With the chance to be displayed on Google.com, participants are offered the ability to build their own Google Doodle.

Winners will also get prize money for their institutions in the form of cutting-edge technology and impressive scholarships. Students are urged to participate in this competition to display their artistic talent and inventiveness.

In addition to publicity, the winner will also get a $50,000 technology grant for their school and a $30,000 college scholarship. Any K–12 students residing in the US, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands are eligible to enter the sweepstakes.

Requirements for Doodle for Google Scholarship

The submitted doodle and supporting documents must meet the following criteria:

  • Entries must not contain any material that violates the spirit or topic of the Contest in any way, including but not limited to being offensive, derogatory, threatening, defamatory, disparaging, libelous, improper, indecent, sexual, profane, or slanderous.
  • Also, they must not promote hatred or damage toward any group or individual.
  • Applicants must abide by all applicable federal, state, municipal, and any laws and rules in the state where the doodle and supporting statements are made.
  • In addition to any rules and regulations in the state where the doodle and supporting statement are made, they must abide by all applicable federal, state, municipal, and international laws and regulations.
  • The entries must not contain any content, materials, or elements that, in the sole judgment of the Sponsor, show any third-party advertising, slogans, logos, trademarks, or character representations.
  • That suggests sponsorship or endorsement by a third party or commercial entity, or contrary to the Contest’s spirit.
  • The contributions must be unique, unpublished works free of any information that belongs to another individual or group.
  • Applicants must be no pending lawsuits or claims involving the doodle.
  • No negative remarks against the Sponsor or a third party may be made by the Entrant.
  • The submitted doodle cannot contain movies or GIFs and must be two-dimensional, scannable art like a drawing or painting.

Eligibility for Scholarship

An applicant must satisfy the following requirements to be eligible to participate in the contest:

  • You must either be a citizen of the United States or possess documentation proving that you are a lawful permanent resident.
  • Prior consent from a parent or legal guardian is essential.
  • As stated in Section 8 of these Rules, for participants who have not attained the age of majority to be eligible for any rewards, such entrants must obtain written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

These are the requirement for students in grades K–12 can enter the Doodle 4 Google competition every year.
