Diablo Immortal Crests – How to Get Diablo Immortal Crest

Have you ever come across the Diablo Immortal Crests while fighting the minions of hell? The crest is one the weirdest additions in Diablo Immortal ever since you cannot wear them, you cannot spend them as currency, and you can’t fight off the demons and undead with them.

Diablo Immortal Crests

Diablo Immortal

They are not terribly common either. You might just find yourself rummaging through the remains of the countless dungeons, ruined churches, and creepy forests, and not finding a single one. As a matter of fact, you would not even hear about them till you are quite into the story of Diablo Immortal. Deckard Cain eventually places you right into one of them when he talks about gems, but till then, you not be given more details.

But you have tons of gold that you would like to make even Smaug envious, piles of platinum, and even oodles of orbs – why should these crest matter? What does a bodybuilder who never skips leg day like the barbarian need with them? Diablo Immortal offers a very brief rundown that’s easy to gloss over, but the crest is actually the key to success with powering up your character.

Diablo Immortal Crests

In a more practical sense, the Crest is the key to Diablo Immortal’s playable loot boxes, which are called the elder rifts.

The Elder Rift is an instanced random-dungeon mode, where you get to clear out a small dungeon and beat a boss for rewards. The quality of the rewards scales is based on the crest that you have used when you entered, with Legendary crests being the best – as they would guarantee you at least one legendary gem. Rare crest can be quite useful though, as they tend to make the Elder Rift reward runes and introduce a very small chance of legendary gem reward.

Each of the crests that you get to plug in would not only upgrade your rewards but would also add random positive or negative modifiers to your run. You would not know what the modifiers are until you load them into the Elder Rift. Fortunately, if they become too difficult or annoying, you would leave immediately, and as long as you have not attacked anything you would get to keep your crests to try again.

The Legendary crest introduces two main modifiers, Generally, one positive and the other negative, whereas rare crests would only add a single one at random.

You would find the stone that allows you to enter the Elder Rifts in the city of West march once you get far enough alongside the Diablo Immortal’s Story. The contents of the dungeon layout, enemies, and boss – are randomized, and the faster you clear the dungeon out and defeat the boss, the better your bonus reward would be.

You can choose to take an Elder Rift alone, or you can choose a group of up to about four players, each of them can apply their very own crests. But no matter how you decide to set it up, it would scale according to the highest combat rating, so do not try to jump into a group that is far above your own, since you probably would not survive the attempt.
